Beaver sleepover with a scottish theme for St Andrew’s Day
Beavers using their imagination
Checking Fitness and exploring leaves
After a washout for the planned session in Pittville Park the Beavers did some of their Fitness Challenge back at Highbury. They also learned to identify leaves and then made them into rafts.
Beavers make Pinwheels for Peace
In a session devoted to a consideration of Peace the Beavers thought about children who are affected by War and how they can be helped to keep hold of their childhood through play. They also made these Pinwheels decorating them and adding messages or prayers for Peace. They were then “planted” in the Church garden and appreciated by people coming to the Harvest services when our thoughts were of the situation in the Middle east and the impact that is having many people Christian and Muslim.
Beavers make biscuits for the Group Annual Event
The Beavers made some biscuits which were made to raise money for the Mayor’s Charity at our Annual event. They raised £37 for Severn Freewheelers
